Xin YU

My works focus on taxonomy and phylogeny of Odonata. On a regional level, I care about biodiversity and conservation. I am also interested in ecology and behavior of odonates.

I achieved my PhD degree of Zoology from the College of Life Sciences in Nankai University in 2008. Then I finished my postdoctoral research from College of Environmental Science and Engineering in Nankai University, which is mainly about freshwater biomonitoring with benthic macroinvertebrates as bioindicators. From July, 2011 to August, 2017 I was in the College of Life Sciences of Nankai University as a faculty member. Since September, 2017 I was in the College of Life Sciences of Chongqing Normal University as a faculty member.
